Helping Children Return Home
Family separation is one of the most devastating consequences of war.
CMA works with organizations including Save Ukraine, which helps return Ukrainian children taken to Russia and reunite children with their families.
Through these partnerships, CMA supports efforts to address the needs of children affected by forced displacement and separation.
Care Beyond the Immediate Crisis
Returning to safety does not end the challenges faced by children who have experienced war.
Many require continued support as they cope with family loss, displacement, trauma and disruptions to their education and daily lives.
CMA's children's initiatives include cooperation with professionals who address the psychological consequences of war and support children and families during recovery.
CMA also supports children who have lost parents and works with organizations and professionals serving vulnerable Ukrainian children. Children affected by war often require sustained support, not only assistance during an immediate emergency.
