Cleveland Maidan Association joined the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve University for Celebration for Peace — an evening built around Ukrainian music, poetry, and performance.
The program moved between contemporary Ukrainian composers and older folk material, with readings between sets. For many in the room it was the first time hearing this repertoire performed live in Cleveland.
Evenings like this are not separate from the aid work. They are where it starts: the people who fill these seats are the same people who pack pallets on Saturdays, sponsor shipments, and keep Ukraine on the agenda in Northeast Ohio.
Proceeds supported CMA's medical aid and medical education programs in Ukraine.
