Parma holds one of the largest Ukrainian-American communities in the United States, and every August 24 it shows.
Families, veterans, parish groups, and neighbors gathered with flags for Ukrainian Independence Day — part celebration, part demonstration that support here has not faded.
CMA volunteers were on site to talk with attendees about what shipments actually contain, how medic training works, and how families can request help.
The day closed the way it usually does in Cleveland: with commitments for the next event, the next container, and the next shift in the warehouse.
